Community ManagerBs. The puck cover IS set to on. If you played goalie, you would know that pressing Y in this situation often doesn't do anything because the ai aspect of the goalie can't figure out which animation to resolve to, which is why the goalie is just twitching and not doing anything.
In any event, the bigger issue is that on a build with 90 rebound control, goalies can't just simply gather a puck that hits them right in the chest on an easy shot with no screen. No, instead, the goalie has to bobble the puck until it bounces around his pads and into the net. That's stupid.

I do play goalie. When puck covers were set to auto, I'd see this sequence play out a number of times. Switched to manual, problem solved.
