NHL 24 Franchise mode is unplayable on superstar

Question

Dear EASportsNHL 24 Franchise mode is nearly unplayable. What have you done to the game? There are moments when trying to defend where it is legitimately impossible to retrieve the puck. The goaltenders constantly give it away leading to goals. My near guaranteed one timers are being stopped with regularity, meanwhile the CPU is scoring cringe goal after cringe goal.&nbsp;Attached is a screen shot from my last game. This is unacceptable in terms of having any sort of fun with the game.&nbsp;An update needs to happen where playing good defence is actually rewarded. The CPU manoeuvre far too easily through pokes and hits on their way to a perfect sequence of passes which you cannot defend no matter what is done.&nbsp;The game is sick right now and not in a good way.

lol they wonder why people keep saying this game is a joke.

I play on superstar as well. But all it does is make it so that the computer has magnetic sticks and will come away with the puck just by being near it, and scores at way too high of a rate regardless of you defend properly or are in proper position etc etc…

@PxPBrett Hey man. I would suggest changing the sliders. I did so and the game is WAY more fun now. It feels more realistic. You can find a couple of guides and slider specific sets on a google search.

Personally, I have been using the sliders on the site below for 2 years. Initially, you can see all the modifications with *, and below that, there are the more recent changes with the date. This helps avoid having to check all the sliders each time.

Mess with your sliders, specifically the shooting category. I have the same problem. To keep the CPU in the same shots to goals ratio, you’ll need to drop the CPU’s shooting by at least 10-15. If the CPU has a rating of 50, the CPU will have. 30% shooting percentage all the time.

I also change up both User and CPU goalie sliders, quite a bit to add more realism.
