Totally agreed. I feel like yet again it's another copy of previous nhl games with a few added features and buttons. I have seen four lacrosse goals in one game and it takes the wow factor out of it. Game play looks the same. Intros and outros are lacking big time. I feel like they need a fresh set of eyes on this game. It's the same stuff over and over and over again. Nfl and fifa get big leaps every year. The nhl fans are getting left behind. At most this should be a gamepass game or a 29.99 release. If they dont bring in a new engine and completely overhaul the game I feel like it will just continue to slide and they will keep putting out copies of the same game. Animated boards a new meter on the ice and new button layouts aren't enough to warrant a full price release.
