I like the idea of the pressure thing in NHL 24 but I am all for the feeling of realism in hockey games and that icon would drive me crazy if i have to play with it all the time.
So do you think you can turn that off?
Yes is is so incredible stupid not to have an option to turn it OFF.The red boards should be enough put the meter on the ice AWAY.i have read so many who do not like the meter so act on it now EA.
Yeah if we can't disable this pressure meter I'm not buying the game, simple as that. I don't care how good the gameplay is or any other stuff they add. That pressure meter is a total dealbreaker. It's just unbelievable that anyone at EA thought it was a good idea. Probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in a sports video game.
Gotta love how they put effort into the boards turning bold red/ making a giant red meter in the middle of the zone that you cant hide, but no changes like seeing the shot total for each team on the scoreboard/ have an option to change back to the original. We should be able to hide as many UI elements as possible.
The UI Stats has been broken for 2 years now. They didn't fix anything last year that they broke in '22. You can't rely on any goals or win totals they show you for a play during a game, you expect them to show real time accurate stats?????
Just popping in to please tell EA to give us an option to turn off the pressure meter!! Last year for the first time in 10 years I didn’t buy 23 and just played 22 with updated rosters because of them removing true broadcast camera. Now we get true broadcast back and now won’t buy because of this lmao. So sad and annoying please fix it.
Like can they just at least give a little leeway and consideration to offline players? I get you gotta do what you gotta do for the money or what not but if you’re not gonna put work into offline modes don’t completely ruin the game for sim guys. Last year true broadcast, now this! Sad.

I believe it was pointed out during an interview with the devs that the meter will stay put with no option to turn it off.
I'd like a less obtrusive way of indicating to the player that the pressure is in their favor, but it is what it is right now. First iterations of new features always come with some downsides. I expect this will be addressed by way of patch (if the community can come together to insist on a change) or next year.
