I like the idea of the pressure thing in NHL 24 but I am all for the feeling of realism in hockey games and that icon would drive me crazy if i have to play with it all the time.So do you think you can turn that off?

@coolspot777 For me this a real issue. I play my games with everything OFF, everything.I asked the question just a few minutes ago to Tougie and he said that there’s no way you can toggle that OFF 😳 That just told me that I will stick with my setup of 23…NOW in NHL24, on the ice, you will have a fancy gauge telling you this and on the board, it’s gonna say PRESSURE !!! I mean what more can you ask for ? Gamers nowadays need to be spoon fed… Like I don’t know that I’ve been running around in my zone for 45 seconds and I’m about to die, lol !

Ok this is a catastrophe direction the game is taking with a screen full of things that we dont want to se you want just to play the game and FEEL what you are doing is this a game for kids now?or a game on your phone?.Just have an option so you atleast could turn it off but now we can not do that?ok no buy for me playing with that big icon meter centered in the zone every single game!!i thought the remove of the full presentation was the wrong direction this is even worse!

Such a shame if not.You could reach the exact same result even if the bar was placed more discrete up in one corner, or just to have one of the announcer to say something that indicate It's full power.Really bad news if people is forced to see that on the clear white ice.EA, "Hey, we put this new thing in the middle of the ice so no one can say we don’t add new stuff'. As an answer to everyone that thinks It's a copy/paste.Next stop, a tattoo on our forehead. No I dont like this bar in the middle of the ice, if thats not clear by now.

if not able to turn it off, I really will not buy it. Same for this christmas tree player indicator...hell😵💫🫣

@EA_Aljo It is intrusive on the screen and contrasts heavily with the ice. It is not immersive at all and is a distraction. We didn't ask for this and it should not be forced on us. We need the option to turn it off. Honestly, this shouldn't even be up for debate. This should be fairly obvious to the developers.

@SharpGoblin If not turned fully off it should be more muted and subtle on the ice. Especially the team logos that appear in the centre. They seem to almost glow.

I bought the game and now regret it because of the pressure icon meter. @EA, can you please include an option with the next update to turn this off?

why not use the boards for the meter? right behind the net, show the boards filling up a loading bar...why the on-ice meter?? just why..???

Why not use meter in any place? Not on the ice or boards. I believe everybody will notice the difference anyway without any meters anywhere.

Please remove this asap. If I'd known this in advance, I'd have kept playing NHL 23. With this thing, it feels like flushing $70 down the toilet. I think that even an intern could build an option to turn this off very very easily within a few minutes.

It has not and chances are good it's going to be there at least for the remainder of NHL 24.
