This is actually a fantastic demonstration of how EA's passing mechanic needs some fixing.
You can tell that EA decided the pass was intended for #29 and thus instructs #6 to avoid reception based on how the player control indicator switches to #29 (as it will always auto-switch to the intended recipient). Sometimes you'll see this happen with a subsequent animation like the player lifting their leg up to avoid disrupting the pass but any animation like that is absent in this sequence, so it makes it look as though #6 is just broken.
Good clip! Hopefully this can be addressed and/or maybe there's a pass accuracy % we can set in our settings to try and limit these from happening.
