Poke Check and hits

Poke checking and hitting have been an issue for me in NHL 24 so far. Poke checking now has its drawbacks but it’s not enough to deter people from spamming it and getting away with it. It’s super inconsistent sometimes it feels like I’m waiving a 2x4 around drawing penalty after penalty and other times it feels like the pokes never miss. It sometimes has the tendency to hit pucks in ways that it shouldn’t such as launching the puck down the ice at Mach 10 or weakly pulling the puck towards the player. It’s a POKE CHECK fix it please. I like the new hitting but it has become to easy to hit players sometimes I’ll be 3 strides behind a player yet I’ll jump at the player and hit them from behind with no penalty or way that I should have hit them. It’s also again inconsistent sometimes I’ll blow a guy up in the corner from behind (no penalty) then Martin St. Louis nudges a guy off the puck cleanly and he gets called for charging? Just make it harder to land a clean hit but  more consistent.
