IN NHL 25 to Protect the Puck you must click LS down and then Push Left or Right with the Right Analog Stick. The Xbox Elite control and the Dualsense Edge makes this super easy.

@Billy_bSLAYER The problem is that many of us have been playing for years with the turbo button assigned to a paddle under the controller. This gives us easy and quick access to turbo, which we can hold down at all times if we wish (at our expense, since we are then draining more stam).
Now, if we hold turbo on our paddles, stick handling is disengaged. This makes no sense and is an overlap and oversight of 2 separate mechanics. It is like saying you can't stick lift if you are skating.
To add to this issue, many of us also use the LT to stick handle quickly, which not many people know about, but it provides a boost to stick handling speed. So, now, there is a massive combination of buttons we are holding simultaneously (L stick, LT, Turbo, and R stick) while stick handling through traffic - and they're demanding we release one of them, without reason or justification, to do something ingrained over the years.
What is the reasoning for protect puck overriding stick handling? Can you or anyone else provide a rationale for this? What is EA's stand on this, and can they give any explanation for these 2 arbitrary controls to suddenly be intertwined?
