The cool thing about Aljo's interactions here is that they have the developer's ears. If an issue is raised here that is genuinely questionable - something akin to an animation playing out in a way we know it shouldn't versus "why isn't this mode included" - Aljo can typically go to the source for an explanation and when that explanation is given, it can very insightful and provide a new perspective on any given mechanic.
Although as customers we can get annoyed that things we ask go "unanswered" due to secrecy surrounding future releases, they have to walk a fine line between answering questions and generating undue anticipation for something that may not make it into a final release/update.
I really wonder what were the buttons I pressed when playing NHL, for EA to gather analytics that I wanted:
- A Fortnite tunnel of doom celebration 🤔
- A big pressure gauge on the ice and on the boards 🤔
- A big pizza with a stamina gauge under my skates 🤔
Or what buttons should I have pressed all these years to have:
- Better presentation 🤔
- Better BAP or offline modes 🤔
- Better all around customization 🤔
If anyone have these secret codes I need to enter, let me know. Thanks in advance 😏
@PernellKarl027Well you can thank other games and trends for reasons things are a bit more flashy. Looking at demographs of things people like these days. Have you seen the kids that play ice hockey from like squirts and pee wee divisions? They are very much the crazy celebration type.
As for the pressure system well they figured giving people a visual was a good idea. Obviously to many it isn't.
For the better stuff I guess it would require you to remove buttons from my controller for always mashing the A button to get to the next puck drop as fast as possible.

I mean I'm close to asking EA to add this to the game or make their own game of it. Give me some Bandy!!!!!!!!

You're correct there's a lot I can't talk about. I get you all as many answers as I can, but I also make sure to relay the feedback here. The dev team also keeps an eye on these forums as well as Reddit, OS, etc. One way or another, they're going to see it. That doesn't mean everything will be acted on. What makes the game good for you, doesn't necessarily make the game good for all. Just like what makes the game good for me, isn't going to make everyone happy. We have prioritize what is going to be good for the game as a whole. It's also possible that features that get added today may lay the groundwork for further expansion in the future. I know it's frustrating when we don't act on the requests are are specifically important to you and I hate to see that happen, but it's the unfortunate reality of having a small window of time to work on the next game with so much work we want to get done.
The discussion calms me down a bit now...
then EA also knows that i skipped NHL23 and continue to play NHL19 and 22...
