They needed to fix online modes first. There’s sliders for offline

@kyl_35You think offline modes are ever getting focused on again??? Lol, we are in a different era from NHL 04. The fact two different creative directors have bluntly said they havent focused on offline in consecutive years is pretty telling to me.

 Everything is geared towards online (microtransactions). Only way you'll see updates towards Franchise/BAP is if they find a way to integrate HUT into it.

@Beauts90 so they will be working on offline modes? Playoff mode could use an update…. We have the same celebration after a series win… would love to see a change in that. @EA_Aljo a cool change for this is obviously update the cutscene but during the handshake line can the teams keep their equipment on and then during the Stanley cup celebration have the losing team keep their gear on… just a small thing I noticed which is annoying each year. I hope I’m not sounding mean when I say these things but as a huge hockey fan I notice these things.

Lol, I do not. But Mike did say it’s in the three year plan, so maybe NHL 27 won’t be as frustrating as we’re used to 🤞

@EA_Aljo Thank you for replying! I am very excited for the gameplay! I just hope and pray that the presentation will have those changes and really feel like I’m watching tv with new play by play 🙏🏻

@EA_Aljo are you able to answer if the goal horns got updated to be more accurate and will do more blasts like in real life. Like if Vegas scores nine goals in the game like they did in real life to win the cup! Will I hear nine blasts and their goal song? 🙏🏻

@EA_Aljo  I have heard that we have no hybrid stick control anymore ? Is that true ? 

@BahamutaI think it’s still possible that they could have fixed some of the worst decisions they made in 23, like removing the restrictions on player/strategy edits. It would make sense that the director wouldn’t get into that in the interview. There’s still some hope there’s improvement, but we won’t know until probably just before the game releases, if not after.

Can we wait anything new to creation zone ? I mean offline side player creation and team creation ?

Mike knows better than I do so I would assume your assumption is true. As he says though, the gameplay changes provide new ways to enjoy offline modes. It sounds like there are plans for offline modes down the road.

I've certainly bought my fair share of games second hand over the years, but keep in mind, the more legit sales of the game there are, the bigger the budget for new additions and improvements. Buying the game second hand doesn't help in this case, but I understand not wanting to spend your money on a game that you feel isn't worth it.
