Re: Why bother with EASHL divisions?

@TTZ_Dipsy My guess is that you likely have a decent club. I dunno if things have changed because all my friends have given up on the game but most of them are not great at the game and so once we make it to D5-D3 we would have a chance of being relegated if we had a bad night/ bad stretch. Happened a good handful of times. I'd prob rather have it than not have it but I don't think it should be used for playoffs.. I really just hate the whole idea of playoffs period haha! Just have seasons and give banners based on seasons imo

Sorry, didn't mean it like that. I like the general concept of divisions and relegation/promotion aspects, but I feel like it could be done so much better and visually, there could be way more useful information displayed.

I guess technically we had 4 divisions before: Amatuer, Rookie, Pro, Elite, but I think we could add a few more on top with the added benefit of giving players better matched games and something more to work towards.

With a 2 div setup that means that anyone 6 and up can play anyone there -- Until I play enough games that means my club is facing silvers and low golds quite a bit - that can't be fun for anyone. Last year the matchmaking was so bad we were Elite 2 facing off against bronze players and even people who were I assume copper? We were literally more than double the RP and got a whopping 1 Car/RP for a win.

You can argue matchmaking would take longer this way but I personally think quality of matches should take priority over speed.

As for the visual aspect of the dressing room screen, yes, it is better to have than not, but I feel like it should show things like overall rank for the competitive players as well -- I'd be way more inclined to play one more match if I could break the top 10, 100, 1,000, etc than just winning a few hundred xp for a div title (which means nothing compared to banners you see in the rafters). Completely different story if there was some sort of display case with all your trophies...

For clubs with lots of players (or a pair of competitive friends), I think it'd be nice to have your team and/or player stats on display for bragging rights - I don't wanna blast a friend over something trivial like giveaways and takeaways but if it was on the screen, maybe they'll take notice too, idk..
