With Shutdown and 90 poke checking, this game still doesn’t reward you with good defensive plays. How was this not goalie interference as well? Defense is non existent in this game unfortunately

That's a pretty common thread this year: previously dominant, but the new mechanics changed things.
I think you and your team would be better served learning to defend properly using the new mechanics. If "nobody can poke anymore", there's clearly a skill issue.
lol nobody can poke anymore on the other side of the ice also. we sometimes score goals and laugh our * about how we got poked and kept the puck. go play offline now
