Why are shots so wonky in nhl 24???

As far as I know, it's new. 

We did have the community playtest with these same controls. We could have done a better job of relaying those though. Thanks for the feedback.

The only control I'm not seeing in the controller settings is holding in RT for a better clear. Again though, I agree we could do better when it comes to communication about new controls.

@EA_Aljo What happens when you are using skill stick controls, does it work the same way to get a dump in our flip out? Plus, is it still possible to get a delay of game penalty with the puck going over the glass, I can't even get close to the top of the glass no matter how hard I try?

Skill stick controls work the same.

@EA_Aljo I will continue to test this but the moment I press and hold the pass button (RT) is reverts to the pass indicator and passes. Also, I have attached a picture with your listed controls and there is nothing on there that states what you are saying.... plus you failed to answer the second part to my question. It's an honest question.

I should have elaborated more. What I meant was that the dump works the same with Skill Stick as it does with Hybrid/Total Control. You can hold down RB/R1 for the normal dump. Holding it down for longer will power it up and send it to the NZ if you're deep in your own zone. Hold in RT/R2 has about the same effect as holding down RB/R1.

I haven't been able to dump it over the glass either. As far as I know, you just can't power it up enough to do this.

@EA_AljoOkay. I will use that and see how it works. Why is that not part of your control layout in settings? I'd think it would be needed to allow players the ability to know how to correctly play?
