Be A Pro has been permanently frozen for almost two months

Product: NHL 24
Platform:Xbox Series X
What is your gamertag/PSN ID? iiConicWeave
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? For me it happens at the coach interaction cutscene to receive the zone ability Yoink
What happens when the bug occurs? I reply to the coach and the game freezes. The only way to get out of it is by closing the game
What do you expect to see? The game working
Was the issue in online or offline mode? Offline

What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) Almost two months ago
What is your time zone? EST (IET) - GMT - 5:30

A bug that makes the game unplayable has been here for almost two months. You do realize you the amount you charge for this game right? How has this not been fixed? Other users asking about it with no replies or concern from the community managers... Shame on EA for over promising and under delivering for close to 10 years now. The chel community deserves so much better

    Hello, @SaYn_Dyce 

    This happens when you have a corrupted save. Something you can try is deleting the personal saved data. To do that, please follow these steps. There is the risk of losing offline saves and changes to settings you've made. Normally, those download from the cloud, but I can't guarantee this.

    1. Press the Guide button and then highlight the NHL 24 tile.
    2. Hit the Menu button. It's the small one to the right of the Guide button with 3 horizontal lines on it.
    3. Next, go to Manage game and add-ons > Saved data. Delete the file with your gamertag on it.

    If this doesn't help, the only other option is to start over. To help avoid this from happening, make sure you save and quit out of Be a Pro instead of just switching to another game/app or turning off your console.

  • Thank you for posting this issue… I have the exact same problem and it’s towards the end of a 10 year career where I’m about to break every record. I can’t get past this screen no matter what I do and there are no previous saves… get me past Yoink please!
