the players age goes from 18 to 23 automatically at random points either before or after the draft. Happened to me three differerent times in different Be a Pro careers. It starts out at 18 but either right before the draft or during preseason with the nhl team all of a sudden it says he is 23. I can also see everytime it switches to 23 years old the play by name is switched to A.J and doesnt change even though I go in and change it and save the changes.*EditTried a new BAP career with start in Europe and got drafted to another team. Just went from 18 to 23 years old when i played my first game in the NHL. Also changed date of birth, same thing.

@Sbastic It does this when you edit your player, same thing kept happening to me so I investigated and found the cause of it

How hard is it to show any attention to be a pro. It has actually gotten worse since around NHL18 or so. They can't ever get the age right now. You can't play in the minors anymore, you can't start with a full season or 2-3 in the CHL anymore. It's such a neglected mode. It's pretty clear that they don't care about the game in general but they actually made this age issue in particular, worse.

Same thing happened to me and it seems like basically everyone else has had the problem, regardless of the platform (happening to me on PS4 and it seems like it’s happening on the new gen versions too). Been over like 2 weeks and I haven’t seen a single EA response to any of the threads about it either. BAP isn’t important to them, and proven it over and over again lol. Only care about that sweet HUT microtransaction/pay to win mode.

Same here. Now you know exectly where and when it happens. Please please please fix this so i can play this game. I have paid a lot of money for just be a pro!

Why is my Center or one of the wingers playing Defense when the puck is in the offensive zone? EA has neglected this game fully. Rinse, repeat. The Sports gaming world has become a monopoly owned by EA Sports and there’s no fixing anything until theirs actual competition to do so.

Of course it wasn’t. Had a question about be a pro as simple as “why can’t I see my players injury or know how long he’ll be out for?”

no response because they don’t care enough.

That’s the type of company we’re dealing with folks!
EA NHL please for the love of goodness sake at least touch be a pro for the upcoming game. We are desperate!

People have been complaining about this bug since the game released. Community managers don't care and the higher ups care even less. Be a pro doesn't make EA money, so the delusional conversation system, the offline syncing, the player age glitch, and the game perma freezing at coach interactions (this is what I have in my Be A Pro with 60 hours of my time invested in it) will almost guaranteed not be fixed, and may even be in NL 25 since every game for the past 5 years has been a copy and paste. Unfortunate but I'll tell it how it is, since the community managers won't.
