Thanks for the report. I'll pass it on to the team.

I can't use the right stick to rotate the player when customizing my team in EASHL. Also it won't let me preview skater and goalie because clicking the right stick is also tied to the XP tokens you can activate so it always just brings that up instead. Please make one the left stick. The logo selection for the jerseys is also bugged. I have a B selected for my away but it says the Sabres logo is selected even though the B shows on the jersey in customization but it's a Sabres logo when I play a game. Hopefully I explained that okay. 

Right analog stick won't rotate character in creation mode for EASHL Club creation or for nhl 24 character creation

Yes it did that to me too every night I played so far after playing a few hours and going in and out of the creation zone. At some point your character get stuck in one position and you can't rotate it at all anymore. Only way to make it move again is by restarting the game.

Hey, it's December, and it's still happening. Can't turn my character around in the character customization screen

Try exiting out of that screen and loading into it again. If that doesn't help, try turning off your controller and back on again.
