EA_Aljo Xfactor is also lame. Shouldve just went back to the Old Boost packs seen on NHL 09-14. Way better than the Xfactors/Abilities.
Id Like to See Attributes Mean More in this game. So many players use Low Hitting Low Durability Low Balance and Strength To boost their Offensive abilities like speed acc Agility Shot power Passing offensive awareness But the don't really feel the Effects of lowering Other Attributes.
Strength is a Modifier This should Help with Balance Hitting Fighting and Faceoffs. Strength should help in the draw when going for Tieups. Or the push forward.
Durability I see so many people use the lowest Durability you can use to boost Hand eye strength.. But somehow can get hit over and over again without injury. Durability should also be tied in with Endurance The Higher the Endurance+Durability the less affect a Big hit has or less likely to result in injury.
Endurance If youre going to keep the really poor planned Zone fatigue in the game Endurance should mean more. Even with high endurance after 20 seconds zone time your player basically dies even if you are being less aggressive. I like to Collapse in front of the net because thats how my player is built. But Zone time kills my guy regardless of endurance.
Puck Control another modifier. Id like to see this tie in with Handeye Off and Def awareness Should help with getting pucks settled but also how quickly you regain control+ help with Luck loss due to poke check or Bumps.
Shot Power and accuracy Id Like to see In free skate the ability to test your shot like we had in Older NHL games. Target shooting/ShotPower clock. Shot Power should be Easier to control. Low 80s attribute you should shoot in the low 80s a majority of the time Mid 80s you shoot in the mid 80s 90s you shoot in the Mid 90s..... But stamina should have a part in this. The more stamina the more the closer you are to the Attribute level the less stamina the less effective your shot it.
Faceoff I dont understand why there is not ability for this it is crucial in the game . And would be an probably one of the more important abilities. Do you Not use close quarters to have an edge in faceoffs?.
Off def Awareness I dont understand. A player could be in great position and understand the play that is going to happen but without Defense of awareness at a higher attribute level Youre player refuse to break up the pass. I think Both these attribute should be reworked or have less of an effect on the game if position is the key factor. .
Speed Agility And Acceleration If like to see an Obstacle course im free skate. again seen on older games but removed for no reason back in the game. We want to be able to test these attribute to see if its actually worth having High Acc agility and speed. In previous years Acceleration didnt seem to do anything. We want these attributes to actually work.
Balance Doesnt seem to have much effect until you get into the Higher Attribute levels around 88+ If a player has 75 hitting and i have 85 Balance I should be able to resist the hit a bit better than Im able to now.
Hitting Again Lots of players use Lower attribute levels for Hitting. Thats okay but they shouldnt be absolutely destroying people like we see. Lower hitting attribute levels should see less effective hits. Maybe you dislodge the puck or Get a nice hit but Higher levels should help in causing injury or seeing the bigger body checks more effective against Higher balance/strength.
I dont understand why it happens but EASHL used to have really cool features such as stick curve/flex,Skate radius,Free skate target shooting/Shot speed radar and Agility/speed course for skating. Id love to be able to see and test different levels of attributes/Xfactors and Abilities. To see if theyre actually working or if if it's worth adding more points to a shot or speed.
