EASHL silver 2

Conspiracy or phenomenon?
I wonder if others also notice that silver 2 rated players, although not playing exceptionally, score with harmless shots from nowhere every time. At the same time, their goalkeeper seems to save everything, even almost empty nets and the glitches like backhand short side etc. We've had this several times now and have come to the conclusion that a little help is being given here. Since yesterday, our suspicions have been confirmed, as our opponents, who beat us 4:1 with 8:27 shots, moved up one Rank to Silver 1. The rematch was played immediately with a 9:0 victory. -650 and then +120 need not be mentioned.

Yep. It’s obvious. I can tell when I’m going to have a game like this on my first one timed shot. I’ll play a game without missing shots on goal with one-timers. Puck always hitting the goalie or scoring or hitting bar and out, then I’ll go into the next game and my one-timers miss the net by 3 feet consistently. Usually in games where my accuracy magically gets nerfed my goalie plays like he’s a backup beer league goalie and the other teams goalie will follow the puck like he’s got 99 vision and save every shot. Notice shots also not going where intended. Can aim anywhere and it’ll hit the goalies chest.

  • That's right, buddy. That's how we do it at the club, too. Apparently EA helps the guys with lower ratings.

  • I feel this on a spiritual level. My friend and I will be beating platinums, diamonds and elites in what feels like a very fair game with maybe a couple wonky things happening here and there, but EA is always good for that. But let me tell you, the minute you’re close to ranking up here comes a team of silver 3s and 2s and they do the absolute bare minimum while getting outplayed the entire game and EVERYTHING goes in. Skate down no dekes just shoot it in and it’ll hit the goalie and still trickle in or the puck just continues to gravitate to them no matter what you do. It’s absolutely exhausting to play against and it’s blatantly obvious when it’s happening. What happened to people just having to get better at a game to win? Enough of the catering to people. Ice tilt is a very real thing and I don’t care if they never admit to it.
