This 100% needs to be addressed, I mean the contracts issue. I loved the variety of contract types and lengths that are demanded and how they do impact their likelihood to sign. Problems arise with players who no matter what don't want to sign with you, even if you match everything that they want (contending team, contract length, even contract salary). They constantly decrease wanting to signing with you on the meter. And you rarely negotiate discounts on players, they mostly won't agree unless you offer more than they are asking for. Which is frustrating and not realistic, players, as we saw this offseason, preferred to take discounts to stay with their current team, especially if it is a winning team. Good format, just needs to be revamped in terms of player's likelihood to resign, and their asks/wants being conveyed in terms of an actual contract. It has made it so that after 2 seasons, I basically have to restart again, as like you said, it becomes unplayable. Oh and yeah, the salary demands are insane. Then I see opposing teams resigning players for much less than a player of half the quality demanded my team be signing them for.
