Game freezes when checking stats on a player for a trade

I was offered a trade. When I went into the stat screen (R3) it flashed on and then disappeared back into the trade screen. Now all buttons don't work and I can't select anything. Only option I have is to restart the game, but this happens every time.

What the hell? Please do better.
