Freezing? - Call EA

Playing on an iPad 2, freezing frequently, rarely had that problem prior to the monorail event.

Same here - ever since I placed the plastics recycler. I have disconnected my track and stored many decorations, but still the game freezes and has to be restarted over and over. At least I CAN restart it, unlike many I've read about on this board.

Game still freezing badly. I can clear a few buildings and then it freezes....getting really annoying.

I just had the most useless chat with someone from EA. He wouldn't listen when I explained how many players have been posting about this issue and that it seemed to start at the same time for everyone. He kept going on about how I should close my apps, and restart my phone and yadda yadda yadda. It was extremely frustrating, and I could sense that even the rep was getting frustrated because I knew more about this than they did. Man, it is so ridiculous how hit-or-miss EA's help is. Had the same situation with the donut loss glitch a few weeks back. Some had no idea what to do, others replaced my missing donuts while we chatted.

Unacceptable, EA.

I stored all my track and the freezing went away. Drastic I know, but I want to be able to play. No problems yet since I did that.

Edit: The last thing I'll ever do is call EA support. I'd have to be desperate. It took me 30 mins to get back into my B-Town with it freezing almost immediately. I finally got into edit mode right after it loaded and hit the track button to turn off the engine moving. Then stored all the track. I even stored the station and pulled it back out.

My game (on iOS) also has been freezing quite often. Just emailed EA so I'm hopeful they will reply with the cheat code so I can beat the big boss and win this game.

... is that not how this goes?

I emailed them and got a response that they are aware of the problem but don't know when it will be fixed. I did get 15 donuts.

Freezing getting worse, more frequent, not better.

Mine has just started freezing when doing my neighbour visits. Can get into my own town and do the necessary but I just get thrown out completely when trying to visit neighbours.

You might try on those neighbors where it freezes, either hide them or visit their KL.
