CHECK THIS OUT!

There is two updates, apart from the auto update when you start the game, but also the update on the App Store.
Have you updated with both updates? The second update from App Store supposed to help run the game smoother along with the new opening screen.
  • The game updates automatically, i've never ever have seen an update on app store even when halloween update came out, but i did check and nothing appears, but surely when i deleted the game and reinstalled it off app store it would of installed with the latest update on it anyways

  • Ive checked the other threads but no 1 has gone into detail bout there problems there for mine is the better post, it gives you a true example of what is happening.

    and by the looks of it still no 1 can resolve the problem.. i cant see how some peoples work and some don't
  • How do i find out the version im running :S , but then its got to be right verson cause all different Origin IDS are working fine on my phone..

    Go to the App Store, tap on 'purchased' make sure you have 'All, tab selected.
    The version will show up when you find the game.

  • Im gonna ignore it but for future reference you should have posted in a pre-existing thread, many of which have several pages of people being very detailed and specific about having this same issue. But almost everyone that's been having an issue with this update are still unable to play. I haven't been able to play since 12am Nov 8th. What you should do is utilize the help section on the EA site (not in the forum, go to https://help.ea.com/contact-us?product=the-simpsons-tapped-out ) fill out the form / answer all the questions, and click on "email me". Fill out that form and include a detailed description of your issue. I've done this and I've been replied to once. They'll ask you to answer a long list of questions about your device, the issue, etc.
    Be aware that this issue has already been addressed by the company. EA sent out an alert saying they're aware of the crashing problems and they're working on solving it. You should still contact them through the help section like I said, it may help them understand why some people are having the issue, who is having the issue, and what makes your game different from those who don't have any problems.

    Not me! I cant play at all. Not as a guest or as one of my other ids's. I get friend requests and accepts from push notices when all I can see is cannot connect to the server 18 seconds retry 18 seconds retry ........

    I went as far as wiping my iphone and restoring it to factory . I guess if I post my issue all over someone may have a solution.

    Good luck to us all. This game really is life ruining isnt it. Not in a fun way. :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
  • Roly did that work? No one has a solution to our problem especially mine cause I've tried absolute everything possible to sort it out.
    The only way it will get fixed is if who ever made or who's in charge to fixed bugs reads our problems!
    At this rate we are going to miss out on the thanksgiving items :/
  • Don't no geezer, all I no this is annoying I've spent £3 on donuts I no it's not alot of money but I'm not going to lie and say I've spent more when I haven't, who can we contact to solve our problems? Cause this ea forum isn't doing naff all
