Are there any plans to remove or change the hip check? Tiny skaters flying around spinning 180 in a microsecond to perform a heatseeking hip check is very silly. It's being exploited by on the forech...

You can combat hip checks with a reverse hit. You don't necessarily need the reverse hit X-factor or whatever either to negate the full brunt of the hip check.
It's lame that it can still be abused, but reverse hitting these fools has helped me out a bit.
