Sure, McDavid is great, MacKinnon and Kuch are awesome, and Sid and Ovi are defying aging but why haven't we seen any updates to this mode in years? You could add created players or select from ANY player in the game and just add their team's outdoor apparel randomly. Or add new talent...guys under 25. Please do better.
Community ManagerHey there. Thanks for the feedback on this. Most likely, offline Ones doesn't get played as much as other modes. That would make it less of a priority. Hopefully, it can get some attention in the future though.
I figured as much. I will say some users don't have the funds for online play or are young users and therefore don't have permission. I'm 42 and have been playing the NHL franchise since its debut. Offline play was the only play then. This game is what sparked my life-long love for the sport. If these lower priority modes are updated, it could be considered an investment in the future of the franchise. In 94 I was 12...I'm still playing 30 years later. In addition, I've attended NHL, AHL, NCAA, high school, and even international games (I saw Cole Caufield and K'Andre Miller play against MSU when at Wisconsin, Luke Hughes at U of M, and Will Smith at USNDP...I love hockey thanks to EA), and I now even play beer leagues. I encourage EA to think of the investment and even pitch it to the NHL and your partners. I'm 100% sure they'd be on board.
Community ManagerI hear ya. This game is also what sparked my passion for the sport back in the 90s. Obviously, the game was all offline then and I have some really amazing memories of it. Hopefully, we'll see offline Ones get some attention in the future. I'll pass your feedback on to the team.
