lag out loss after scoring 2 goals

I just played somebody on HUT and scored a second goal to take a 2-0 lead, which caused them to leave. I got a notification saying disconnected from Xbox Cloud Gaming, and when I logged back in the progress of that game is lost as I would have completed a challenge if the goal counted since it gave me a check mark right before the disconnection. I cannot figure out how to report the opponent but can we look into if they manipulate this regularly?

    Hi there. It sounds like you lost connection. We're not aware of a way to force disconnects. We'll keep an eye out for this though.

    seems like such a weird coincidence to lose connection at that very moment after he paused the game. 

    Can you please keep me in the loop about addressing this issue, I have bought every game since EA NHL 07 and play regularly and have had not had this happen before on NHL 25.

    We can try some connection troubleshooting, but there's not much we can do since you're playing through Xbox Cloud Gaming. Are you on a wired or wireless connection?
