If your AI D is constantly being burned by speedy wingers, this means as forwards, you're not doing enough to stifle straight-line speed generation by your opponent.
Match Room size needs to be brought back and the geniuses who thought it was a good idea to remove this option should reconsider their approach to making changes like this in the future.
But, you can either setup your D for success or failure. It really all starts with how the forwards impede straight-line speed.
I'm pretty certain it was removed because of the clubs that only have 2 or 3 guys but play 6v6 were complaining that they couldn't find a game/nobody would play them. Despite there being a mode specifically for smaller clubs...
So does EA tell them to either play 3's, or just suck it up and find more club members? No no, they instead choose to screw over the rest of the EASHL community by removing match club size altogether, and guess what? Not only can those 2's clubs STILL not find games, they've now ticked off the entirety of that mode's player base in one way or another. Classic EA.

lol people have jobs and lives. Sometimes you can't get everyone on at the same time. Maybe you should suck it up and stop backing out of lobbies when teams only have 2 or 3 people on the other team. My club has been on both sides of it, play the game instead of lobby hopping, cause chances are you just get matched with them again.
