I feel that the stumbling, collisions are far too dramatic taking upwards of 10 seconds to recover and get back into play

Don't skate full speed into a brick wall and you won't have a 10 second recovery time. I do think colliding with the boards should trigger something as what a lot of people do at the higher level of EASHL is immediately stop up and turn into and collide with those boards. They then try to almost bounce right back out to cut to the inside which can be very annoying to play against as a dman.
What I do want to know in regards to the stumble animations (ankle breaker types more specifically). Have those been completely removed from EASHL? I have no problem triggering it on CPUs or even some human controlled players in HUT, but it seems like it is impossible in WoC as I have yet to see it or have it be done to me. This is based on if you pivot while someone performs a deke on you. So, if you're playing positionally, it wouldn't impact you so much.
