Told you current gen only wouldn't fix all these problems lol. Game needs to be rebuilt from scratch.

First off, this has given me hope that there is going to be a good franchise mode experience in this game along with the changes to gameplay as well - so hats off for that. 

There is a lot of promise here and hopefully, it is implemented well and the conversations actually has sense to them (as they have had so many issues in BAP). 

Is the UI better - it looks nicer but in reality it is the a hybrid version of the BAP UI that has been around for how long....? 

I appreciate the fact that they took time to make changes to it and I hope along with these that they fixed some of the pre-existing glitches/bugs that have existed in the game for years. IF they did that as well then this is definitely good progress forward. 

Do we know if morale is fixed or player progression not being RNG anymore? If morale is still not working correctly, can we still turn it off and if we can how does that affect the rest of it?

Plus, is there way to find out what has been taken out of the game (as per the last 2 years there has been removals when stuff has been added)

This is truly underwhelming for me. 

They had multiple years and this is what they added. This is 1/5th of what they should have had done. I'm really not that impressed. They added about 1 or 2 suggestions out of around 50 great suggestions thrown at them every year.

Just thought of something else that had been asked for a lot, but I did not see mentioned. Will they be implementing IR and LTIR into Franchise Mode? This has been requested so often, so if not included in the changes, it would seem kind of silly, as these are huge parts of the NHL. 

Being able to edit players appearance/ info would be such a welcome change, do all this work building a team just to see the ugliest group of players celebrate with the cup (IRL hockey players next to 20yo cloned old men) imagine not being able to move from center to wing, or vice versa your entire hockey career.

I've asked for these basic changes constantly for years now, have yet to get one reason why we can't edit something simple like hair, there's zero good excuses why EA can't update their games creation system (they only own The Sims)

Look at the standard goalie helmets, they've been the same exact ones since literally around NHL 09. It baffles me how none of this isn't pointed out more when people bring up "all they do is copy and paste these games."

I think these new additions look pretty awesome, hopefully it adds some much needed personality to the game and the interest bars lead to some competent AI GM’s.

I think we all, or most of us, have been fooled before with new additions sounding so much better than they actually work in the game, so hopefully this isn’t the case. If these aren’t properly implemented, it could ruin the whole mode pretty quickly.

But if some of the other problems with the mode have been cleaned up this could be a huge step for franchise mode players.

I think the bad news is that if changing positions, player types and strategies are part of the new conversation system, I doubt they will be opened to editing like before.

Hey, everyone! It's good to see these reactions to the Franchise Mode trailer! The dev team put a significant amount of focus on FM with NHL 25. I know many of you still have questions. Currently, this is all the news we have. Should more information be released, I'll make sure to relay it here.

The deep dive was well done. Hopefully you will be able to answer more of our questions since release is under a week and we will get the answers then haha.

also since this is a franchise mode update year, will their be any updated to it during the season via patches?

Patch updates would be great, work out kinks and add in things they did not have time to add
