Good ideas! I have some additions to the list that I would love to see.
- Practices: i think this one is pretty self-explanatory. Whether its bc the player is doing a fantasy draft franchise, or is a few years in the future, not having a practice mode that shows the actual roster of the team has bugged me for years. Especially when changing to a new coach with new strategies, you only learn how to play with it in the middle of the game, which isn’t fun for someone like me who plays all 82 games on superstar level.
- injured reserve: in my current franchise, some of my players have been injured for a couple months but i cant call anyone up because of the cap hit. I have multiple injuries on my team but cant call anyone up so im stuck playing a forward on defense because he’s waiver eligible and i done want to lose him.
- Better cpu player programming: too many times i see my cpu teammates make the dumbest decisions that ends up costing me a goal. It doesn’t matter how good i play D when my center peels off and lets a 2 on 1 happen not off the rush. Its really frustrating. On the other side, too many times ill see a 2 on 1 develop for me and then the guy who i was gonna pass for a one timer just dips and tries to skate behind me.
- Better clearing mechanics: this one really annoys me. During a PK ill have a great opportunity to clear the puck but because the actual clearing mechanic takes too long to load, ill end up just trying to shoot it down the ice, the problem is that no matter where im aiming my player ALWAYS shoots the puck directly to the opposing team.
- add more difficulty: i play 82 games on superstar level, difficulty slider a 0 for preseason, 3 for regular season, and 6 for post season. I do have a really good team with mcdavid, pasta, a high ovr byfield, marchand, and depth players that are contributing, but im currently on a 15 game win streak and it feels too easy sometimes.
- line change glitch: pls for the love of god fix this glitch, i hate having to put the puck into the benches just so i can get a proper change
