Honestly, been waiting for this for over 10 years now. Literally over 10 years for a PC release of this game.
I don't care about the rhetoric and the x, y and z reasons. Me and my buds just wanna play NHL on PC.
Is there any other publisher that will support PC for a licensed hockey game? EA Sports clearly doesn't. - SummerOfDekes5 months agoNew Hotshot
In all fairness, they didn't say which platforms the game would be coming to in the trailer, so there's a possibility the game could end up on PC. Have to wait and see.
Edit: nevermind, I just read the announcement page. That's pretty unfortunate.

"Never" is an absolute. This game will come to PC, EA Sports Burnaby just has to be told "go" and they will do it.
It's up to the leadership at EA Sports to make the decision. PC is a growth market, it is in EA Sports best interest to bring the game over. It is just a matter of timing, budget and resources.
It's not a "never" situation, it's a "when" situation. It's just disappointing for the PC gamers who have sat on the sidelines for over a decade now wanting access to the game on their platform of choice.
BTW, remember that EA has their very own platform on PC. Their very own platform where you cannot access all of EA's products. That's a weird thing to me. If I'm EA, I want the EA platform to be THE PLACE players go to access EA content. They get 100% profit revenue on there (something that doesn't happen on Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, etc..). So it is definitely a failing on EA Sports leadership right now, not some hypothetical "agenda" to be against a certain hardware kit for the game.
The game will come to PC, I was just really hoping this would be the year.
