We are not trying to intentionally kill this game. That really makes no sense whatsoever. Changes are made with the intent to improve the game. Obviously, that doesn't always work out.
If the change was intended to improve matchmaking in some way, communicating that to the player-base would go a long way in gathering consumer driven feedback.
If we know the intended goal of what these changes were meant to produce, we could provide feedback as to whether those goals are being met.
However, making such a fundamental change and then acting aloof as to whether or not it was intentional or whether it will be changed in the future is pretty frustrating and only serves to confused and fuel anger.

It's one thing to remain mum on future changes, but to just flat out refuse to explain the reasoning or goals behind a significant, universally disliked change to a major game mechanic isn't reasonable. At this point it just feels like a slap in the face to the entire community.
