Players dont skate?

Anyone notice that players skate with bricks for feet? never moving them unless you're actively controlling them. When you pass they will do a little breaking animation and lose most of their speed, and there is never enough space to regain that speed. God forbid you send a hard pass without using the vision buttons, 95% chance you miss entirely or the puck will just go right past your guy and he wont even react.
