Its even worse in threes eliminator, just had a game with 2 people using Deepfreeze, can't hit them or reverse hit, they just keep hitting you because there is no interference penalties in threes elim. only way to slightly knock them is by hip checking but even then they just get back up. but the lightest shove will send you down to the ice
