Please work on the game

Notes for 25 so far.

Bring back good hitting. This hitting is ridiculous. I hit a guy. My controller vibrates, and he just skates by? Not okay. Make goalies a bit better. **bleep** going in when it definitely shouldn't be. Not okay. "Skill based" one tees aren't skill based at all. People are already abusing everything you gave them. Make hitting more effective again. People can just hold the right stick to the left or right and they're unhittable and if you poke check. Immediately a penalty. Fix the **bleep** game in patch 1. Shots are going in that would 90% of the time never go in during a real NHL game. Your game is favoring everything cheesy. This is the worst start I've ever had to an NHL game. I love this series but God please fix this **bleep**.

-Make goalies a bit better. They lay day again way to **bleep** much. Nearly as bad as early NHL 24.

-Make accuracy mean something. Picking corners is hard. Yet every player with even **bleep** accuracy are scoring the same goal in the top corners.

-Bring back good hitting. If someone takes a bump Make them actually get pushed off the puck and make the puck move away from them. If you get hit, most likely you're going to lose the puck

-Fix the amount of stupid penalties. Hitting in front of the net is still called interference way to much. And every poke is essentially tripping.

-Skill based one tees. Actually make them skill based. You flick immediately and it's green. And goes it 90% of the time. Not okay.

This is just the start. This is the worst start of playing a new game in the series in such a long time. Please make it better. Please dear God. Every game I leave more fustrated than the last with everything mentioned abaove. My teammates notice that our opponents shots are going in. I make the same exact shots and it never goes in for myself nor my teammates.

I love the LT. I love franchise. I love some of the changes. But all of the bad just outweigh any of the good.

Thank you for reading. I hope to see improvements in the near future.

You know what's interesting when you line up a hit and the animation bounces off him because he twisted his body, in HUT it registers the hit  towards objectives. It really shows you broken the mechanics are. Was never the case in NHL 23.

  • There is nothing wrong with the poke check..l I play as a danger with 75 stick checking and have no issue. Stop spamming it.

  • So many lies are getting posted on here. Nothing wrong with the hitting or stick checking. The game is nothing like 24.

Obviously there is going to be some arcade stuff within the game for the kids. But as the gameplay is now its a vast improvement on last year. Maybe a few tweaks with stamina draining so quickly and the one timers being a bit OP.

Its the closest to a sim we've had in years.

I agree honestly if anything pokechecks are too strong they need to be turned down not up. People are already spamming the pokes

I'm actually glad to hear about stamina declining because I always in my sliders turn up declining stamina and turn down recovery. Maybe in the sliders turn up effectiveness of attributes to even out the one timers everyone is scoring. I do however realize this does not work for online play.

I would prefer them to leave it as it. If you spam it, it slows you down terribly. But good time poke checks work finally. Any tripping penalty I've taken so far has been my own fault. I just worry because EA has a tendency to over compensate or under compensate in tuning. They can never find that sweet spot.
