A lot of the frustration I think right now is just the lack of updates to what is coming. Last year the new producers sat down and talked about more transparency. Shortly after 24 released it seemed like they were keeping their word and then silence.
This year they talked about a gameplay deep dive and came out with a 5 minute clip. They talked about a presentation deep dive. So far all I have seen is some screenshots and 15 second clips that dont even have sound. It’s just… embarrassing. I get that a lot of this likely has to do with the EA suits allocating money, but it really feels like theyre just trying to kill the game. I mean how are we 11 days away from release and still waiting on “deep dives” from 2 major modes?
The sit down interview they did last year was nice and seemed like they were changing things. Unfortunately it really seems like thats not coming. Just disappointing and makes spending the money on the new game feel wrong.
To be fair the HUT stuff usually always comes 2-3 days before the early access starts. Kind of one of those things to prime people up for it to hop right into the mode.
How is that "to be fair?" No one even mentioned HUT.
