If you are playing with an AI goalie then it isn't really hard to score goals on shots you know are like 90% goal shots. Also you are playing 3s where you aren't really shooting unless it's to score because controlling the puck is the key. I'd love to see clips of all these goals happening. Overall it's kind of easy to make the AI goalie look silly. Short side goals are easy. Making the goalie jump using LT and some movement is easy to freeze them or make them over commit. Then you add in the X-Factors doing things and it's crazier.
Also I've looked into the cronus zen/xim stuff. Checked various forums, discords, reddit and nothing really exists for NHL that matters. You can create 1 button touches for the windmill deke, the tuck, and 2 other dekes that are meaningless. We already have 1 button dekes.
I feel like the " 90% goals shots " are the exploits/cheese being reffered to. I understand it's a video game but I feel like this year has gotten out of hand to say the least. Never noticed it as much as I have in all the years I've played NHL. Regardless thank you for your insight. I appreciate it.

Isn't that the game every year though? Going back to NHL 12-ish, we had the infamous curve shot. There was the wrap glitch a few years back. Those are legit issues. Giving someone the time and space from a high scoring area is only exploiting their opponent's inability to defend them. Every year we get complaints about specific shots scoring too much. I too get annoyed by teams that only try the same thing over and over again. Thankfully, those teams tend to be pretty easy to beat since they always telegraph what they're doing.

Well look what the cat dragged in. Lol Regardless, thanks for your input. You've already confirmed a few things for my next post, keep in mind this is my 1st post ever, which should says something, I love EA's NHL and care enough to ask for change to make it better. You know that this game is far from perfect and dropping in player count speaks volumes. LT is broken and a problem. Also, I making a knew post on what can be addressed to make the game closer to hockey instead of an exploit repetitive goal hockey.

It doesn't say anything other than you've chosen not to post here before.

What player count are you referring to?

It's not 'broken' - but it can currently be abused to negate slowdowns while skating at high speeds.

Repetitive defending = repetitive goals. If you're seeing the same goals scored on you, you're playing the same defence.

If this is the new way to " play good " then we are removing a big fun factor when it comes to competitive play.
Being adept in an online competitive sports game means you need to learn how to defend the scenarios/setups/goals that players commonly use. Most people who deem this game 'broken' and 'exploitative' typically venture into competitive modes where the skill-level is far above what they're used to and get completely steamrolled. This can seem like your opponents are 'exploiting' element of the game (and in rare cases, that might be true) but the reality is that they're exposing poor defending styles that lend themselves to the 'always' goals you see more often than not.
example; not many people use defensive skill stick to angle puck carriers. They will then complain that players are able to just 'skate right by their d-men' and insist it's because the game is broken.

BTW I've met Elite 1/Diamond 1 teams that beat us without using these " repetitive Goal styles. Some we have beaten too. The very few teams that have beaten us in that way have always been fun to play and exposed where we were weak. They made us look internally ( accountability) and switch our game plan while being excited to learn from more great teams.
Your team's defensive posturing has a hole that's easily exposed by highly skilled players.

The population is LOW on Relaxed. Remember the days when it was Normal or even high? That should be a reality check.
EA has introduced so many different ways to play WoC, the population has thinned out as people enjoy Ones, Threes, 3v3, 6v6, Eliminator, Drop-ins, etc. Combined with the popularity of HUT - it's no surprise the herd has been thinned out. EA needs to find ways to make these modes interoperable.
For example; allowing a WoC team to take control of a member's HUT team for special games, rewards, etc. Allowing a HUT player to play against this week's Squad - while allowing the Squad team to be controlled by WoC drop-in players looking for games. I think the possibilities are endless.
