This game especially this year is a infestation of cheaters.

They have nothing to gain the community managers and the white night Heroes here from admitting that they won't or can't do anything about it.
The only people having trouble admitting anything are the people who refuse to believe that there are players and teams out there that are simply better at the game.
. I do not care what any community manager, hero or White Knight or Peter trying to gaslight people into thinking it's a skill issue. Say. This game has a serious cheating problem. Period.

I don't need to see them, I have tons of my own videos and I fully understand what people are saying. I'm just wondering why you always defend this game and do not respect that other players may have different experiences. We are here to share our own experiences after we played hundreds of matches during the whole season. Is it hard to understand?
Community ManagerIf someone is legitimately cheating at the game, we need to see this. A high percentage shot or exploiting LT/L2 are not cheating, but people often claim they are.
I agree, this is definitely not cheating. Regarding LT/L2 exploit, game should be better balanced. If you skate fast while using LT, sometimes you should simply loose the puck, puck control should be lowered, speed itself should be lowered, shot or pass from that move should be less precise or something like that. I hope, 26 will fix this.
I agree. Also, get rid of pressure or X-Factor zone abilities or both. Bring back simulation hockey and less of an acrade style, we already have enought of arcade style game modes ( ones, threes elimators, Arcade) . Thanks for sharing your experience.
Get out of here. High percentage... When a team is obvious with it, they are scoring absolute beach balls from anywhere. In the corner behind the goal on a back hand with no momentum and not even facing goal? No problem. At the blue line on a backhand facing away from goal while skating away from a check? No problem.
God forbid they're actually able to face the goal and shoot, that's 99% going in against illegitimate teams.
To the White Knight or Cheater trying to run interference and claim that coincidentally higher ranked teams tend to be more skilled - please - everyone knows that the higher you go in the ranks of ANY game these days - the higher the percentage of cheating - Top tiers of ANY ONLINE GAME right now is infested with cheaters.
Honestly I'm not sure what your argument is, that there is ZERO cheating in NHL - Or any game? - Obviously cheating exists in every online game - Even something like Valorant with absolutely obsessed Devs. Are you trying to claim NHL is somehow immune to this with the ABSOLUTELY ZERO effort made to combat cheating? Get real.
I posted a most recent clip in another thread I started showing a team that was just body checking our goalie out of the net all game just to really rub it in. I chose this clip because any other clip I show, some white knight or cheater can just say, well that's RNG, or some other nonsense.
The real problem is that if community managers are out here running interference and trying to gaslight on the issue, then we can all save our money on 26, because we know they are part of the problem that will keep things exactly as they are. And how they are is the dwindling of NHL and fair online play.
Anyway. It's up to the DEVS at the end of the day. Do something about it, or watch the game continue to turn to dust. If you want to kill it off, keep doing nothing like you have been. You have people that have been gaming since the franchise started trying to give you honest feedback, and you're deciding on this course of action as a response. So be it.
I don't want to dog-pile here, but if you're running into people you think are cheating, post the video.
I've never seen in-game cheating. People taking advantage of meta weaknesses in the AI goalies? Sure. Bad bounces? Yup. Terrible goals because the AI goalie temporarily loses their mind? Absolutely. All frustrating, but nothing approaching cheating. Even with things like skating and hitting, I've never seen anything that could only be explained by cheating. Exploiting bugs in the game to create unrealistic skating or hitting? Yes, but nothing that would indicate anything else.
The only thing I've ever seen in EASHL I'd consider cheating is the goalie-pull spam disconnect exploit and that was a long time ago.
Thank you for that point but let’s be real—if you're exploiting in NHL 25, you're not skilled, you're just soft. Spamming broken goal glitches or abusing AI flaws isn't strategy, it’s cowardice. You’re not “gaming the system,” you’re hiding behind it because you can’t win straight up. Cheating’s still cheating whether it's a glitch or a hack. If your only W comes from breaking the game, you already lost.
Losing because your defense is bad is just your fault. You can say they lost but what does the end of the game say? Pretty certain it says they won the game. Excuses is all you are making at this point. And btw I'm a 6s only player where everything is decided by the player.

Claiming people are cheating without providing a lick of evidence is not sharing an experience. It's a deliberate and outright claim that people are cheating.

I fully understand what people are saying. I don't call it cheating and as I said earlier, there is no cheating in this game. But too many shots and goals in this game are weird and questionable so people may have that feeling, because it looks like cheating while it's simply bad programming, bad tunning or bad decision how the gameplay should be implemented.
