WCHEL crashes permanently

For a few days now, the game has been crashing constantly on my PlayStation 5. The game has become almost unplayable for me. If I'm lucky, I can play the first period. If I'm unlucky, and this happens regularly, the game stops at some point and the screen freezes. There is no response to inputs from the controller and I can only close the application completely.

What I've tried so far: checking the internet connection, nothing unusual. Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game including rewriting the PS5 database, deleting cache data, nothing works.

What's going on here? Do you have any solutions for me?

region: Germany, North Rhine-Westphalia (near Düsseldorf)

  • Lately, ive noticed when loading from the EASHL dressing room into a game, the game freezes for an extended amount of time, the whole party said they also are frozen, the game becomes unresponsive, but after a minute, the game starts. Not sure if thats the same issue your experiencing . Maybe clear your cache, not sure where that is on the PS5, reinstall the game

Hello. Does an error message ever come up or does it just stay frozen?

I don't get an error message, no. Just stay frozen. The other people in my cabin can then carry on playing without any problems. I can only select End Game and a report is sent. Done.
Then I restart and can start the next game until the error occurs again in the same form.

I have already tried deleting the cache, rebuilding the database, and reinstalling the game (safe mode). Nothing helps.

Just to further rule out any connection issues, I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!
