For a few days now, the game has been crashing constantly on my PlayStation 5. The game has become almost unplayable for me. If I'm lucky, I can play the first period. If I'm unlucky, and this happens regularly, the game stops at some point and the screen freezes. There is no response to inputs from the controller and I can only close the application completely.What I've tried so far: checking the internet connection, nothing unusual. Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game including rewriting the PS5 database, deleting cache data, nothing works.What's going on here? I don't get an error message, no. Just stay frozen. The other people in my cabin can then carry on playing without any problems. I can only select End Game and a report is sent. Done.Then I restart and can start the next game until the error occurs again in the same form.I have already tried deleting the cache, rebuilding the database, and reinstalling the game (safe mode). Nothing helps.

Just to further rule out any connection issues, I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!

Hey, I hope you had two relaxing days and can help me. In the meantime, I tried to open a ticket, but unfortunately I didn't succeed. The chat simply doesn't open.
Unfortunately, the problem still exists, even after following your suggestions. I am really confused and desperate.

Here are 2 screenshots. After completing the first third, the image just froze. Nothing works anymore. (After waiting up to 10 minutes, I went and ended the game using the PS5 button). Then only the second screenshot appeared. Done.

In the evening I reset the PS5 to factory settings and only installed the game NHL25. Immediately the problem came back.

What I also noticed: Even if I just want to customize my player,... change the face or hair color, the game freeze :-(

What do these red flashes in the background mean?
Is the PS5's GPU perhaps defective or unable to cope with the SAPIEN technology and the power of the Frostbite Engine?

There are very few reports of this so I don't think it's a problem with the PS5's GPU. Is your console in a well ventilated location with the vents free of debris?
