One-timers are fine. People complaining are the same people running Collapsing and Protect Net. One-timers are no more powerful than far side shots from the slot or cross-creases. In fact, when you get good you can even bait them for easy breaks after a block. If I can go an entire game against a top 20 player in versus and have no problem against them, that's proof enough for me that's user problem and not a game problem. You can literally see who you have to cover because there's a pulsing gray circle underneath them. Stop complaining and adapt.
I agree on the other points, but I don't care about the storefront as long as it's not in my face. Never visited that tab and don't plan to either.
One-timers are not fine. A low overall defenseman with terrible shooting attributes shouldn't be able fire a 120 mph one-timer from the point with perfect accuracy.
The mechanic itself is fine, but it should not be completely ignoring the player's attributes.
