How come this is a yearly thing? Is it impossible for headshots to be updated even mid season just for an aesthetics improvement? It’s always just weird playing the game in 2024 but looking at jerseys or players from the 2023 year.
Community ManagerHi there. We can only use headshots that were sent to us by the league. Normally, if a player is missing their headshot, it means they never had one taken on the day this happens.

1 man (one) for in 1 year made the entire Belarusian hockey league in NHL 09.
He made realistic faces and uniforms for all the players and teams.
One amateur did it, for whom it's not a job, but a hobby.
And you have a team of professionals who get paid for it, they can't make faces for the players.
How can this not be considered laziness?

This whole headshot thing has frustrated me for a while. Can you please explain why the headshot for Bob Baun is still that of Carl Brewer three years in a row? I’ve messaged everyone that I can think of. Might seem like a small thing, but authenticity is important.

A month after game release and Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith still do not have in game photos. This makes it really difficult to want to start a franchise with the Sharks and make any progression.
