Account Verification

When I try to play online an account verification screen shows up. When I click to verify it sends me to another screen with a message saying "You will not be able to use the online features in NHL 2025 unless you creat an EA Account. Go to any online area of the title to try again". When I select online play again it brings me back to the verification screen. It's an endless loop. I managed to get in a live chat after trying to get it to work for over an hour. Extremely frustrating experience. Anyway I tried all of these things suggested by the agent for Xbox Series X.  Logging out and logging back in, restarting the console/hard reset, clearing the cache, using an alternate mac address, and changing the password for my EA account. After that the website crashed and I couldn't continue or start a new chat. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Is there something else I can try?

    Hi there. Try going to myaccount.ea.com. Log out of here and log back in. Let's see if that helps sync your account.

    Can you try a different EA game? Let's see if your account can be verified that way. You could try Apex Legends since that won't require purchasing a game.

    I tried that and got this error [Domain eadp::ServerError Code 102122]. I played Deadspace and Mass Effect within the last year or two with no problem.

    Have you tried playing them since this started happening? We just need you to be verified on one game. That should let the others work.

    I finished playing the story mode for both ganes and deleted them afterwards. NHL 2025 is the first EA game I tried playing since then.

    Can you please install one of those again, log into it and see if that then lets you log in to NHL 25?
