Which pack exactly? The 99 OVR pack is received on NHL 24. For the 84 OVR pack in NHL 25, you had to pre-order before September 13th.
Never mind I think it was just one of those times where it started working again. Still no hybrid controls after updating my controller.
Community ManagerCan you try a different controller? I'm not seeing other reports of this so it doesn't seem like a widespread issue.
I’ve used multiple controllers, plugged them into the Xbox directly, reinstalled the game, cleared the cache, I’m not sure what else to do.
After I reinstalled the game, it worked for one offline play now match and it seems to work most of the time in training and practice, but as soon as I play online, it bugs out.

Community ManagerWhat controllers are you using? Are they the ones that came with your console or are they from a 3rd party company?
I also experience this very issue. Perhaps the die hards that peorder your game doesnt use the ”relaxing” hybrid layout. Tried 3 controllers, updated firmware and had a friend that also bought the game try on his system same outcome. Its glitched, what else do you need for a bug report to the ps/dev team?
I play on ps5 my friend on xbox series x all first party controllers
I too am also having this problem except I am also on hybrid controlls and when I get the puck my guy wont skate he can only spin around pass or shoot and im on ps5 as well ive updated my controller checked for up date of game witch mine does automatically anyways and there is no fix
