EA is not being held accountable because frankly, these game breaking issues KEEP HAPPENING. We are past the point where continuing to tell everyone "there is a fix in the works, but we have no ETA" is acceptable. If you genuinely think EA being held accountable is you as a community manager repeating yourself over and over after issue after issue arises every single patch, then perhaps that is part of the problem.
Accountable is not allowing it to happen again and again and again, year after year. EA "fixes" one problem, only to create 3 more in the process. At any other job in the world, if someone continued to create more problems each time they attempted a new project, and each "update" caused even more issues, they would be fired after the 2nd time. Yet with EA we are here, year after year being fed the came BS from EA through the "Community Managers" . We know all you can do is relay the info but at what point does it fall on deaf ears?
Also, you need to be more cognizant of your replies, you have a tendency to come off as defensive and dismissive as it relates to issues that you don't directly experience. (see your most recent response as relates to BAP issues)
When I say we're being accountable, I mean we're claiming ownership of the problem created by an update to the game. That's on us and I'm trying to be clear that's the case. The reason I'm repeating it is because we are repeatedly getting asked about it. Rather than ignore them, I at least want to acknowledge their post was read. Not everyone searches before making a comment. So, I tend to repeat myself a lot. I can only relay the information I have. I can't give out any kind of ETA if I don't have one and normally, when it comes to issues being investigated, there is no ETA since we have to get it fixed, tested, and certified by MS/Sony. Then, when we have a date for the patch, we'll announce it. As I just did here.
It's never my intent to be defensive and dismissive. Appreciate the callout though and I'll be more mindful of that.

coming back to this because the dev's "fix" for icon passing wasn't an actual fix, in fact its broken. This is the lack of accountability I am talking about with them, they break something, then try and "fix" it and break something else in the process, then it repeats with whatever it is they broke this time. Over and over. I frankly don't know if it is truly just sheer incompetence, or they just don't care because clearly they wont get fired. instead they have guys like you on the forums forced to be the face for their ineptitude. We as fans are all done with it. The game is GARBAGE AND BROKEN, the only genuine solution, is to fire every single Dev and Manager for the NHL series, re-hire a fresh group of competent and passionate people, put in a sense of structure and accountability, and rebuild this game from the ground up. No more re-skins of the same NHL game since 2016. The game has so much dated and underlying corrupted code that it legit just breaks with any minor adjustment, and frankly if you think its acceptable to have to justify their continual failures then perhaps you are part of the problem too.
