NHL25: This game is BEYOND unplayable at this point

I normally don't do this because people always have complaints... But I can't take it any longer. This year is the absolute worst for CHEL. 6v6 is virtually unplayable.

The "improved" AI is a nightmare for when we only have 4 guys and not 5, and it doesn't even matter much because no matter what the situation is, the goaltending is just so bad. Goalies seem to never stop a shot when a perk goes off, and we are constantly having our goaltenders give up absolute garbage goals and and stopping just above 50 percent of shots faced per game; meanwhile, we will out-possess, out-shoot the other team and watch their keeper make gravity defying scorpion saves. We'll lose 5-4 despite outshooting the other team 30-15.

I get it, that will sometimes happen — BUT it is always happening in 6v6 right now. 3v3 is somewhat bearable, but the goaltending is still garbage. It's just easier to counteract. 

The pressure system is a great concept, and at it's core, it's great because when you're grinding, you deserve that edge. But right now, it is inconsistent and flawed. We will grind, get the pressure system going, and somehow our goalie will still be recovering from fatigue despite not seeing any action while OUR pressure meter was going on the offensive end. Or, our goalie will be full energy and face one single shot and be in the red and stuck there for a while, despite us possessing out of our zone. Pressure meter/GK fatigue needs to be adjusted to match the situations.

I haven't even bothered with franchise mode and other offline modes as the forums are filled with mentions of bugs and errors that plague those modes. STOP the copy and paste rehash of the prior year's game and remake this game. If you want to copy and paste, grab all the code from FC, change the grass to ice, give the players sticks and start from there because FC 25 is an amazing game. The menus work super fast, the AI players have some semblance of intelligence, the Clubs setup is 100 percent better than CHEL seasons, and you can grind to better your player with skill trees and your club with promotions/fans/etc.

NHL25 is the absolute worst NHL game I've ever purchased. It's truly sad what EA has done to this game over the years. The days of EASHL and GM Connected are long gone; now it's a $70 piece of digital garbage.
