So it's not just me? I have fast enough internet, but I thought it might have something to do with my horrible latency/ping.
Recently though, while playing NHL 24 via cloud, my screen goes black and my PC is 100% unresponsive. All I can do is hit the power button on the PC. It has randomly done this twice. Looks like I'm no longer playing NHL... since my old Xbox One recently died, cloud gaming screws with my PC and EA refuses to make NHL FOR the PC (probably due to licensing with the NHL). Weirdly, we can play a bunch of other competitive games on PC, like Madden, FIFA, F1, etc.
Between blackouts in "local" live NHL games and this game licensing BS, it's no wonder the NHL isn't more popular. They're screwing their fan base. - Aspartaam127 days agoNew Novice
Cloud Gaming only support 1080p HD atm, so every game looks worse through cloud compared to console. They are releasing the higher quality graph support sometime in 2026.
