Is it a rights issue with Womens Worlds/IIHF?
I know the game launched with some confusing omissions of women's players/cards, with no US or Canada national team players but including national team players from other teams that DID include PWHL players (like Tapani, Krizova, etc.). Now that the PWHL got added, non-pro US/Canada national team players weren't added (such as Abbey Murphy who was in the game last year).
As I and others have mentioned, it's disappointing that the WWC is going to end without any card releases for the occasion. I want to give EA the benefit of the doubt here though--is there a rights issue with the IIHF? It would be helpful to know even if the answer is no then we don't have to wonder what's going on.
