I'm rooting for you PC guys. I really am.
But I'm sure a company as big as EA has a market research team. If their data showed they could make enough money on this, they would most certainly do it. They're a for-profit company after all, so why wouldn't they want the game available for sale on as many platforms as possible? The most reasonable answer is the income generated from a PC version wouldn't be higher than the cost to produce and maintain it.
Not trying to be a **bleep**. I sincerely hope you guys get your game someday. Doesn't seem like the economics are there yet though.

This is a fair opinion. But I think they could at least leverage the option to bring the game on GamePass as Xbox Cloud version. The infrastructure is already there, and they could sell it as a standalone copy instead of a part of the subscription. I bet a lot of people would buy it, when it would deliver 1440 with 60FPS instead of only 1080 with 30FPS. Would not even need to maintain a dedicated PC version.
