A Game At AAA Price Shouldn’t Be Like This For The Consumers
As a consumer I bought this game as it looked good on the trailers. Mostly BAP intrigued me but unfortunately isn’t what it seemed. Lots of issues with ice time and the storylines don’t add up. As for gameplay the bugs are becoming way to frequent. Some areas are the game freezing momentarily prior to game start. Matching making lobbies are broken and don’t show the accuracy of players in the dressing room. This often results in people quitting over and over. This mostly is happening is drop-in.
As for gameplay bugs I have noticed this happening where players will just shoot the puck into the Opponents D-Zone and it kills the opposing teams energy. Also line changes on defensive need better accuracy. In hockey there shouldn’t be a line change the your D-Men are defending a breakout in the neutral zone. Goalies also need to have better senses on the corners of hugging the post as this was an issue my club and the opposing club ran into last night.
Next is the non-existent penalties where players will charge and interfere without any consequence. Even happens offline sadly. Along this the feature need to be better as I feel most of the stuff we have been given in rehash with only half the done work. I thought Mike told the community they couldn’t do updates in NHL 24 because they were focusing on the next series of games? Sadly it seems he isn’t even connecting with us anymore as I’m mutuals on X with him.
Lastly is content for areas like HUT need to be more F2P friendly as everything is expensive and unaffordable for those who don’t want to spend so much money since we have other purposes to put our finances on.
A Triple AAA price for a broken game is unfair to the customers and this shouldn’t ever be like this. If it isn’t working why release it? We need more engagement otherwise we aren’t going to meet eye to eye and I feel like nobody is gonna want to buy an EA NHL product.
If it doesn’t work than maybe the price shouldn’t be so steep? FYI Aljo I know you’re doing your best but where are the other community managers? EA_Hawk went under the same thing and now look at this disaster.
