A Theory

After going 2-20 on online versus (Xbox) with the Blackhawks, I tried a different team, the Avs. I lost with the Avs but I noticed a drastic difference. Every player on the Avs is fast, all the way down to their 4th forward line. When playing with the Hawks, only Bedard is able to skate with any other player. Correction, the game makes the whole team look slow, except for Nazar who has the “Wheels” xfactor and Bedard because of his name. When playing with the Hawks, the forward line energy drops to zero because of how outworked they are. When playing with the Avs, I didn’t see any energy levels drop that low. I actually had a chance at winning while playing with the Avs. While playing with the Hawks, I’d get scored on 3 in a row in 5 minutes simply because none of my defenseman could keep up with the opponent, even with a half to full energy bar. It feels like the Hawks have been intentionally slowed down. So, if anyone wants to try it out, play as the Blackhawks and then play as the Avs and let me know if you can feel/see the drastic difference. Yes, even in real life the Avs are fast, but it’s not even a fair competition in NHL 26.
