Anticipating

Has anyone else noticed that in Be A Pro that the NPC’s seem to anticipate your moves? I can barely touch a controller nowadays without a NPC already moving away or dumping a puck to avoid my Be A Pro. Yet if I wait for a NPC to make a deke then move I still miss or bounce off.
